Transitional Footwear

and some updates in private life

Posted by Rathana on February 21, 2016

Hi everyone,

yes – I’m still alive!
Where have I been and what am I up to? Well, as some of you might know we moved to our new home and I got a new job as a Senior Designer since December. Plus, we got a new addition to our family: meet Hector the Shiba Inu!

I cannot imagine a life without him anymore. He is a gorgeous little family member and a fast learner. :-)

I can’t wait to start photo shooting again and pick some nice spots here around Munich and our new hometown for my upcoming outfits. So, stay tuned!

In my opinion, the transitional period between winter and spring is awkward: no longer cold enough to wear those big winter boots but not yet warm enough to show some bare feet. For this season I basically wear two types of boots:

The cozy one

These boots from Michael Kors are so soft and they keep your feet warm because of the very soft lining inside. Sometimes I also wear them, when there’s no sub-zero temperatures outside. They are very comfy and look great pairing them with skinny jeans.

The urban look

These pretty ones are my newest addition to my shoe collection. ;-)
Although they have no lining inside you won’t freeze, unless you’re wearing socks which are too light. I love that they have a nonslip sole. So, I am definitely able to wear them when there is snow outside or when it’s a little slippery on the street.

Now that you’re kind of primed and had a look at my latest footwear, here are a couple key styles that should be on your radar for the months ahead:
