It’s getting warmer outside and probably some of you lucky ones are dealing with temperatures above the average. Spring is here and summer is not far away … So, it’s time to get ready to show off your feet! :-)
Smooth Things Over
After having soaked your feet in lukewarm water, it is easier to remove dry skin. I personally use a pumice stone and sometimes in addition an exfoliating foot mousse regularly. Just work on those chapped areas of your feet, like the balls or heels.
Moisturizing For Long-Lasting Beautiful Skin
Besides a nice pedicure, it is so important to me to moisturize and take care of my feet every day! Before getting ready to work wearing flat sandals or any other open toe shoes, I quickly soak my feet in water first (or when I have lots of time I do the steps as mentioned above) and apply some foot cream on the skin around the toes afterwards (apply on your feet as well, if necessary). This will leave your toes and feet feeling soft and summer-ready in an instant! Plus it looks much better than without doing this procedure. The best thing is, it usually lasts all day long.
Use Good Products For Your Feet
Currently, I use a foot cream from p2 cosmetics (if you are from Germany, you can buy it from the drugstore dm). But I’d like to try other products from i.e. Margaret Dabbs: The Intensive Hydrating Foot Lotion or the Intensive Treatment Foot Oil. The lotion has a non-greasy creamy texture and the oil is a lightweight spray, scented with Lemon Myrtle. Both are known for their healing and regenerating properties.
