Oh my gosh, it’s been so hot outside over here. The heat has become a real torture for me and many others lately. Not only for my body, but also my hair gets dry quickly. Since my hair got blonder in the ends, I have to take special care of it.
Here are the steps I follow every second morning when it comes to my personal hair care routine:
1. Shampooing without silicone
Firstly, I wash my hair using a shampoo without any bad silicone in it. Here is another shampoo, which does not contain silicones: Jean&Len
2. Hair mask
Afterwards I take a small amount of L’oréal’s Lumino Contrast and rub in gently and leave it for about 2-5 minutes.
3. All in one hair treatment
After having done step 1 + 2, let’s put some hair treatment in your towel-dry hair! I use uniq one from Revlon, a leave-in hair treatment spray, which leaves your hair silky soft and shiny. Another benefit is, which I find useful, it protects your hair from heat! And I love how it smells ;-)
4. The right brush
I guess, many of you know that brushing after showering/washing your hair can be painful. I highly recommend to use a Tangle Teezer! It glides through wet, vulnerable and colour treated hair with no pulling or tugging. When blow-drying my hair, I usually use my beloved circular brush from GHD for volume and structure.
Lastly, try to eat clean – this helps me a lot to get healthier hair! I hope, my tips are helpful and I wish you good luck!
